In our culinary tour, we will make you discover 2 boutique stores, locally renowned for their quality products, their Passion and commitment to quality.
Start with bread and patisserie!
Hop in our minibus and join the tour. After a 10 minutes drive, we will make our first stop at the “Tartine & Confiture”, a boutique bakery. Maelle, an energetic young woman, will show you their workshop and explain their secrets: What can you use to replace sugar? What about wheat flour alternatives?
Cheese of course!
Once we have filled in our baskets with bread and bakeries, we are ready to drive to Magenta district, where we will taste and buy some original cheese at la “Cremerie du caillou”. Once again, passion is at the heart of this small cheese and dairy products shop. Sylvie is a keen defender of French cheese, but also promotes local cheese producers.
Tasting time in our culinary tour.
Lunch time is soon to arrive, let’s head towards Noumea’s beaches, where we will enjoy a delicious and unique picnic. French food, New Caledonian way. What else? 😉

Oleti, merci, thank you.
On our culinary tour, we partner with 2 boutique workshops “la crèmerie du caillou” and “Tartine & confiture”, who have in common their passion for good food, a desire to make people discover new tastes and products, and eco-friendly productions.
La crèmerie du caillou is a cheese shop that promotes good cheese. Defensor of the French culture, the shop imports selected quality cheese from France and Europe, but is also the best place to get some local cheese, made in New Caledonia. Le caillou (meaning the rock) is the nickname given to the island of New Caledonia.
Tartine & confiture meaning “toast and jam” is a boutique bakery that promotes healthy, sustainable breads and patisserie. You can not find refined sugar in their products, but alternatives such as cassava syrup or coconut sugar. Local products such as vanilla, honey and fruits are favorite ingredients in their recipes.
